Gender and knowledge production in contemporary academia: Unpacking challenges and possibilities.

During the conference 'Media, gender and sexuality in contemporary Europe', the ECREA Women's Network will organise a roundtable on gender and knowledge production in contemporary academia. What role does gender play in the production and legitimation of scientific knowledge? How can we challenge white male perspectives on knowledge? The objective of the roundtable is to explore challenges and opportunities to reducing gender inequalities in academic knowledge production.
