We are pleased to announce that Connectist: Istanbul University Journal of Communication Sciences has been recognized as an Affiliate Journal of the International Communication Association (ICA).

ICA is a leading international scholarly association dedicated to advancing the scholarly study of communication worldwide, with more than 7,000 members in more than 85 countries. Since 2003, ICA has been formally associated with the United Nations as a non-governmental organization. It promotes international research, scholarly exchange, and academic publishing in the field of communication.

Established by the ICA Board in 2015, the Affiliate Journal program promotes high-quality communication research from diverse linguistic and regional contexts and enhances the international visibility of such research. With this recognition, Connectist joins a select group of six ICA Affiliate Journals worldwide.
