"Women and the Digitally-Mediated Revolution in the Middle East" applies digital methods to the study of the impact of digital technologies on the social and political spheres of women in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The author discusses what could be called the silent revolution of these women online. By combining software studies, feminist Quranic revisionism, Actor Network Theory and digital methods, the book explores how 'women's issues' in Egypt and Saudi Arabia arise, transform and manifest in the digital sphere, in English and Arabic.
